Yolo County

Yolo County is one of the most productive agricultural regions in California. Its local tomato industry accounts for 90% of the canned tomatoes sold in the United States.

However, Yolo County is about more than juicy, red tomatoes. It is also home to the University of California at Davis, which has one of the country’s best agricultural programs as well as a leading-edge veterinary school. “Yolo” is also sometimes mentioned on social media alongside the ubiquitous acronym YOLO—short for “you only live once.”
